I have been trying to find the right words to express just how AMAZING Friday night was, and after much thinking, I still couldn't find the right words! I will, however, try my best!

My friend Gail (who goes to uni in Manchester) and I Entered the MEN just after 6.30 where we were shown to our seats. As soon as it dawned on me just were we were sitting I started to get really excited and began acting like a right donkey (much to the amusement of the steward and embarrassment of my friend) as I started jumping up and down, screaming: "The walkthrough! We are at the walkthrough!"

* My friend hadn't been to a Take That concert yet, so she had no idea what I was on about... She thought I had lost control of my senses and was just trying to mortify her... Of which she reminded me later, I did! She quickly forgave me though as I have now made her fall in love with Take That! He he!!

I decided to try and calm myself down a bit before I ended up in hysterics and had to be carried out of the arena on a stretcher, therefore missing the concert and humiliating my friend completely?

Time went in reasonably quickly with both support acts (the 'lovely' Laura and SEB) getting great reactions from the crowd. Even though TT hadn't even took to the stage yet, the noise we fans were making was deafening and the atmosphere was electric! I honestly don't know how the MEN is still standing!

As the lights went out we all knew what was coming as the excited screams, rapturous applause and general good feeling intensified so much, that it was almost unreal!

TT burst out of four podiums (looking even more handsome than the last time I saw them which was on Wednesday?) singing the fantastic opener Reach Out. Unfortunately I couldn't reach out to them, but I sang my loudest to make up for it!

It Only Takes A Minute was next, with TT showing us that they still got it! I watched as some lucky ladies danced around the guys and then they switched and the VERY lucky ladies got lapdances from TT! Grr.. SO JEALOUS! I then watched mesmerised as Jason and Howard took to the poles *faints*

They were sooooooo incredibly sexy and flexible and? did I mention sexy?
I hadn't quite come back to reality by this point, but I think it was Jason who told us that they weren't really chauvinist pigs - they were just having a laugh. How sweet of him to tell us, mind you, I wouldn't mind dancing with Take That! (Mum if you read this, I didn't type it! Honest!)

Howard dominated the stage next by performing Beautiful World absolutely perfectly and was greeted by much (well deserved) applause.

Patience was next on the agenda and as it is their 'comeback' song, I feel it holds a special place in every Thatters' heart, and I was proved right. It was mind-boggling to hear Take That sing it live and once the lights went up, to see the sea of thousands of people united and singing "cos IIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII?" at the top of their voices! I got goosebumps as I stood back for a moment and took it all in. I think the guys were taken aback as well as they all looked at each other and smiled when the lights went up! A truly incredible moment and one I was proud to be part of!

I think there was a bit of casual chat between Take That and the audience at this point of the evening, which led into mark singing Hold On. He sang it so well I was lost for words, well that, and the fact that his voice is so smouldering, it melts my heart.

Gary came next with I'd Wait For Life - again it was a flawless and fantastic performance from the smoothed-voice one himself. The part I loved the best was when Mark said for everyone to put their phone lights on and hold them up in the air. It was so beautiful to see - it looked magical, like thousands of stars in the sky, and we were all under that sky with Take That - how lucky were we!

Things certainly heated up (figuratively and literally) as TT belted out Relight My Fire. I loved the African/voodoo theme running through the song - it was so different from last year - I couldn't go, but have since watched it over and over again on DVD!)

Lloyd is an amazing singer and I feel I should congratulate him - his vocals are incredible as he sang Gnarls Barkley - Crazy in place of Lulu's part. If TT are by some chance reading this, it was such an ingenious idea, whoever came up with it. It worked so well and sounded absolutely exceptional.
* Takethatsgirl gives you kudos and lots of brownie points!!! *

Rule The World came next, and I knew they would be passing over to the B-stage. I loved the start of this performance when some of the trailer for Stardust plays in the background, along with the backdrop and visual and lighting effects, this is one performance people will be talking about for years to come. The lads sang it beautifully and as the walkway came down and they arrived at the B-stage, it literally took my breath away. There are no words to justify the intensity and passion TT sing this song with... I LOVE IT SO MUCH!!

Lately I have been used to singing "we used to walk down Mancunian Way?" so I have to be careful not to write it here! Instead we were treated to a light-hearted and amusing nostalgic trip down 'memory lane.' (I got it right!)

I adore this new version of Could It Be Magic, with the dancers on the tilting circular platform above them, it truly was magical. I thought it was so lovely just to see the other lads watch Gary whilst he sang (and sang perfectly I might add!)

Then? the opening notes of BACK FOR GOOD began!! I was beside myself with excitement - as was every other person there (including my friend!) This song is loved by all fans and I think the lads realised this once it was our turn to sing the chorus back to them? I just saw them stand back and look at each other amazed - the look of Jason and Howard's faces especially, were priceless! It was almost as if you could read their minds, and they were like? "Wow - what a response!" I don't think they thought it was real either!

We continued to show them our appreciation and true devotedness (sorry if that isn't a proper word!) to them by proving we knew their olds just as well as the new ones. The guys threw in a mixture of Babe, Do What You Like, Take That and Party and A Million Love Songs! To which Mark, I think, replied "you are all showing your age, aren't you!?" (I think that's right?I got kinda confused here, as I knew they would be walking back to the main stage again soon!!)

Everything Changes was next which reminded me of good times! I loved everything about this performance - from Gary and Howard's 'dad dancing' which cracked me up, to the cute dancing Gary and Dawn do together. A truly unique performance!

It was at this point where I think Jason announced they were going to walk through the audience to get back to the main stage... Well, I got so excited, and did everything in my power not to wet myself! I was determined to touch just one of them - it didn't matter who, just as long as it was one of them! (I really need to get out more...)

I will apologize now incase I nudged anybody out of the way - I didn't mean it, I swear.

* asks for forgiveness? *

Anyway, I can't remember much about this part, except me touching Jason's arm and then crying and him smiling and winking at me, only to give me a hug and giggle and say "aww?"

* VERY LOUD THUD!!! *

I stood there physically shaking afterwards and my friend actually thought she was going to have to get paramedics to see to me because I looked like I was going to faint... Sorry Gail, I didn't mean to scare you like that!

Jason did so well after when he sang Wooden Boat so perfectly. He has a truly amazing voice, which should be shared with us more often! He also looks so adorable when he sings, I could so hug him when he sings that song!

He was greeted with chants of "Jason! Jason! Jason!" which he seemed to (humbly) love! It was so touching when Jason introduced his dad to everybody - you could tell he was so proud of Jason and they love each other very much! I could tell this, even though I was still crying! lol

My tears soon dried as the remix of Wooden Boat and Give Good Feeling started! I thought it was amusing to hear thousands of people (myself included) scream "Now's the time to be the first one on the dance floor!" and then Howard emerged in his element in his DJ booth!!! I particularly loved this song because it got such a fantastic reception from the crowd - the other concerts I have been to, the people around me are just like "what song is this??" and I'm always like "GIVE GOOD FEELING!!!"

The dancing got the rapturous result it deserved (as always) and my friend looked around perplexed and mystified as she saw lots of people around us do the dance moves along with Take That!

Sure was next and the singing and dancing again was spectacular. I think it was here where the guys introduced the dancers and stuff, and they did their own thing.

There are only two words which can begin to sum up the next performance: "ABSOLUTELY ECLECTIC!!!"

Lloyd then appeared on the stage with a torch singing and he pulled this semi-circular screen across the stage! I SOOO knew what was coming next and I was slightly disappointed because I knew that the concert was going to be over soon. But I didn't let that get to me - the opening bars of the song began and soon after our lads were walking up to the screen and through it, in what could only be called impeccable timing! This truly is the "Take That Anthem" and you could see this whenever the lights went up and everybody there was joining in with the hand claps and the arms in the air and just singing along and enjoying themselves! You could tell the guys were enjoying it to, as they smiled throughout the entire performance! Absolutely loved the walking (and then running) in the song, as well as the visual effects with the screen and stuff. It was another top performance from Take That. I loved seeing the different events from history and the various famous faces appear on the screen along with Take That. It was so fascinating to watch, and I was ever so slightly jealous of the woman that Jason kissed on the screen?

The lights went out, but we weren't fooled, we knew they would be back one more time, and sure enough ELO's - Mr. Blue Sky began playing and the audience went berserk! We only got worse once Mark started singing Shine - there was not one person in the MEN who was sitting down - everyone was on their feet standing, singing along, and stomping their feet in time with Mark's trademark stomping! It was incredible to see, hear and be a part of!

I was expecting Pray next, so I was surprised when they sang a heart-stoppingly beautiful rendition of Silent Night. It was a lovely Christmassy touch from the guys. It brought tears to my eyes, even when Howard started laughing because I think Gary sang the word "virgin" which then made Jason laugh and the only way he could finish singing, was to avoid complete eye contact with Howard! It was quite funny though!

The guys then suddenly burst into Pray and it was incredible. This is one of my all-time favourite Take That songs and the guys sing and perform it better every time I see them! I love the dancing too, it makes me go all funny and weak at the knees!

Then the lights went out for the last time, and they guys were gone. It was amazing though to hear Mark say we had been the loudest crowd yet!

So that's my review, sorry it's so long. It probably doesn't tell you much about the concert though, and just has me continually rambling in the background!

It was such a good concert, that my friend (who never saw the fascination with Take That before) * I know, (how dare she) I hear you all gasp * but I kid you not. Anyway, she loved it so much that she went and bought some of their merchandise after so that she could get a head start in her TT collection!

I just want to finish by saying thank you to Take That - they put on an amazing show, one they should be proud of, and I hope they take a well deserved rest (after NYE of course!) so that they are refreshed for their next tour! I can't wait!

Thank you again for a night I will NEVER FORGET!!!!
