The Build Up:
For me the tour started in Friday 2nd March. I had a military operation going on in my office, where 4 out of 5 of my colleagues were all calling trying to get tickets. I issued "packs" to everyone with telephone numbers and seating plans of three arenas we wanted to go to, NEC, MEN and O2. And 5 minutes to 9 o'clock we were frantically calling the numbers and pressing redial. After the longest 20 minutes of my life, we finally got tickets. I was so happy and excited.

The months passed quickly and from the beginning of October I started counting down the days. I allowed myself to read the spoilers about the show and had planned in advance what merchandise I wanted. The only thing I didn't do was look at any videos on youtube (except for Jason singing Wooden Boat and Howard appearing on stage with his many different outfits after being in hospital). The week of the concert soon arrived. I was really busy at work that week which I hoped would make the week go quickly. However, the night of the concert I came home feeling ill. I think that it was a mixture of excitement and the fact I had eaten a lot that day. I was also working myself up as I thought if I was ill on the day of the concert that I wouldn't be able to go and I had waited months for that day. Anyway, after lots of rest in bed, the following morning I felt loads better.

Arriving at the Arena:
We finally arrived at the NEC at about 6 and we headed for the direction of the arena. As soon as we got inside the holding area, I headed straight for the merchandise. I made my way to the front of the barriers and must have been waiting there for about twenty minutes before I was finally served. They really need more staff on at the merchandise stools. I brought two t-shirts (the green one with the picture of the world on it, and the red men's t-shirt which says Beautiful World Take That Tour - which is the same as the women's black t-shirt) a keyring, bag and cowboy hat. I felt like I had missed something, but we headed into the actual arena. I quickly changed into my green t-shirt, which fitted perfectly before walking past another (empty) merchandise stool where I realised I had forgotten my glow stick!!! I quickly bought that and we made our way to our seats. We had a brilliant view. We were on the tiered seats to the side of the stage right in front of the b-stage. I was made up as we weren't sure where the seats were until the day. After about 10 minutes, the first support act came on, Tim Daniels. I personally thought he sung very well, however, I was busy clearing room on my phone, ready for Take That, so I didn't actually watch the performance. The lights came up again and the chatter amongst the crowd rose until Sophie Ellis Bextor came onto the stage. I was surprised how many songs I knew and how good a performance she put on. I am not completely sure whether she was as good as Beverley Knight from the previous tour, but towards the end of her performance, she certainly had most of the crowd dancing. My nerves and excitement returned as the time ticked by. Just after 8pm, the lights came up and everyone was trying to keep their excitement of seeing the lads spill over too soon. However, about 5 minutes before the lads were due on stage, medics and stewards rushed past us up to a higher row within our block. We looked round and it looked as if someone had fainted, as it was so hot in there. People kept rushing up until 10 minutes later, they came down with a lady on a stretcher along with the news that the poor lady's waters had broken and she had gone into labour!!

The Show:
The lights went down for the final time and everyone was off their seats, their screams filling the arena, waiting for the first glimpse of the lads on the stage. After teasing us for what seemed like a life time, the lads finally appeared on the stage. (Some of the songs may be slightly out - I apologise, I was so excited I couldn't remember which order they all went into)

Reach Out - The video playing whilst we waited for the boys was amazing showing out of space and then showing the world being ruled by Take That. If only!! The lads finally appeared on the podiums. Even though I knew what to expect I was still excited to see them there. The music started and the boys put on a wonderful performance, the crowd eager to join in.

It Only Takes A Minute - What an amazing lap dance! The lads looked like they were enjoying themselves, and for an unknown reason (to me anyway) Jason and Howard did not pole dance which was a bit of disappointment.

Beautiful World - Howard singing lead vocals got an amazing response, which I believe was a mixture of the crowd welcoming back after his rib injury. It was again performed beautifully and the crowd loved it.

Patience - This got an excellent response from the crowd which was probably the first song of the night where the whole crowd was singing along as loudly as they possibly could, helping Gary along with the lyrics and he even let us have our own solo!!

Relight My Fire - As always Take That put on a brilliant routine for this song. The fire was an amazing effect and Lloyd Wade singing Crazy really added something different. Although, I think the fire on Jason went out too quickly compared to the others.

Hold On - During the week this song meant more to me and on the first chorus I felt goose bumps. Mark did an amazing job singing lead vocals as always.

I'd Wait For Life - A lot of previous reviews throughout the tour have said that this song is better live and I have to agree. I have always liked the song and think it has beautiful lyrics and should have done better in the charts.

Rule The World - This was another favourite with the crowd. But I felt that the song didn't get what it deserved as most of the crowd were screaming (me included) because the bridge for the b-stage had come down and Take That were on their way to the b-stage.

Could It Be Magic - This was the first song to be sung on the b-stage. I was trying to take pictures of the lads, but I was shaking too much with excitement of them being so close.

Take That then wanted to know who in the audience knew their old music from their first album, and we sang Do What You Like and A Million Love Songs. Mark started off A Million Love Songs and apparently someone in the crowd said that it was Gary's song!! So Gary began playing it on the piano and we sung along again with him.

Back For Good - The best reaction from the crowd out of all the songs on the b-stage, where we sang the whole verse ourselves before the lads helped finish the song with us.

Everything Changes - This was the last of the songs on the b-stage before the lads announced that they would be walking back through the crowd!

Wooden Boat - My favourite of the night. Jason looked nervous, and like all previous concerts he kept his eyes shut. I was willing for him to open them, but he didn't. He got a brilliant reception from the crowd after the song finished, before we all chanted "Jason Jason!" which he looked pleased with.

Give Good Feeling - A lot of people around me didn't know what this song was but the lads did an astounding job, although I was too excited from Wooden Boat to remember the whole song!! Nevertheless I did remember the crawling towards the crowd which I loved!!

Sure - Not one of my favourite Take That song but the dancing was brilliant and was pleasantly surprised that Gary was keeping up!!!

Never Forget - Always the crowd pleaser. This song always gives me goose bumps when I see the crowd throw their hands in the air for the chorus. I still think this should have been the last song. The back drop behind where the lads were walking was cleverly done. For me one of the best performances of the night.

Shine - In recent weeks/months I have gone off Shine, but last night made me love it all over again. It was another crowd pleaser and was performed well by Mark.

Pray - The final song. The routine the lads did was excellent and the crowd swayed along. A good finish to the show but as previously mentioned I would have preferred Never Forget.

I certainly wasn't disappointed with the show, as I wasn't sure whether it could be as good as or better than the Ultimate Tour but the 2 hours flew by. Was it as good as the Ultimate Tour? I'm not sure - they were both out of this world and memorable in their own rights!! Thanks Take That for putting on another spectacular show and I will see you at your concert next year!!!
