One week, three shows, 2,000 kilometres. WOW. I started on Wednesday in Hamburg, Thursday in Rotterdam and yesterday I finished it off nicely in Oberhausen. A gig I impulsively added to the list only a few weeks ago. And do I regret it? No Sir!! It was fantastic.

I drove with Marry to Arnhem where we met up with Tamara and co. In the car we played Mark's CDs (I am a total addict now since Sarahp introduced them to me) and wondered over some very strange lyrics The time went fast and before we knew we were in Oberhausen.

And then the excitement started. There had been no announcement, like there had been in Hamburg and Rotterdam, stating that Howard was unavailable to perform. Would he? We grew even more excited when a technician did start working on the right hand microphone and when Howard jumped up at Reach Out the arena exploded, and so did I. I was soooooooooooooooo happy to see him back. It made my evening. The guys exchanged looks constantly and you could see that they were very happy as well that their friend was back with them. The powerful gestures of Reach Out were automatically copied by my arms, having seen it now three times. The people behind us must have thought we were idiots. Well, I am quite normal actually but when Take That are there...well, let's say something happens to me, LOL. And I love it.

The lonely girl on the right seat finally had somebody to lapdance to as Howard joined in the fun as well. Waheeeeeeeyy. I waved my Dutch flag, jumped up and down, sung, yelled, completely lost myself. We sure made our Dutch mark on that stand there! When the guys started on the new songs from the Beautiful World album you could clearly hear that the sound was much fuller, much more complete now Howard was back. And then highlight no. 1: Relight My Fire Voodoo Style. Lloyd is so cool and soon the parade started. In the car we had already practiced our "strong enoughs" and here we went again! Howard wasn't there and I was afraid that this would be it, but when Rule The World started he came back. It brought tears to my eyes and I phoned my friend to have her join in. Highlight no. 2. The b-stage performances were great with a fantastic interaction between Gary and Howard during Everything Changes. They were clearly having so much fun, and so was I. And that slow version of Could it Be Magic is really magical, and the public was actually quiet to hear Gary sing it like it was written only yesterday. Gary and Howard went into the crowd and I could see Fen. Would she? Then Gary bent his head and Fen hung her orange thingee around his neck. We were proud Dutchies!

Back to the main stage where Jason starts to sound more and more secure during his song. And that lovely smile when he had finished. Unforgettable. The corners of my mouth started to curl up as well. Proud to be a Take That fan. And then we started yelling "On the Dancefloor" because we were so ready for some dancing (and crawling for that matter). Howard didn't join in all this dancing but I made up for him. I don't know where I got all the energy from. Even Fen and Sarah at the b-stage saw me dancing. Hey, a girl's gotta lose her head sometimes LOL. My arms went Sure mode and I almost hit the woman sitting next to me. Sorry for that. And then highlight no. 3: Howard stepping from behind that screen and doing Never Forget. He's a true hero. The other three guys finished with Shine and Pray and Howard came back to collect the credits afterwards.

Men, you couldn't have finished my little Beautiful World tour better than this. I'll start saving for a new tour but first back to real life, down on planet Earth.
