Take That have announced that five very lucky emerging acts from the British music scene have been hand-picked to perform as special guests on their tour!

Joining Sophie Ellis-Bextor, who's the official support artist on the UK leg of the tour, will be Karen Bishko, Brownmusic, Tim Daniel, The Lovely Laura and Jay Scott, all of whom have been given the incredible opportunity of performing to sell-out crowds at top arenas.

Here's what Take That said: "All of us are huge music fans and we really wanted to give these fantastic new talents the opportunity to showcase their music to a major audience. To be able to offer the chance to support up and coming artists is a great honour for us and something we feel very strongly about. We're really looking forward to seeing each act out there on stage!"

KAREN BISHKO
Karen's debut album, Singles for Singles, takes a bittersweet look at relationships set to dreamy melodies. She tells the stories of her life through her music and strives to make every lyric count resulting in quirky, heartfelt and honest songs.

BROWNMUSIC
Mixed-race twins Natasha AND Loretta front Brownmusic, a name that reflects both their sound and identity. "It's not full-on Urban, Soul, Folk, [or] Rock but an element of all of those genres. [It's about] not feeling forced to fit into one specific category - whether that be your music, your dress-sense or your attitude."

TIM DANIEL
You may not be aware of it but you've probably heard some of Tim Daniel's songs before - penning hits for a bunch of top artists including Simon Webbe, Delta Goodrem, Lemar and Toploader, as well as Blue's huge hit 'Guilty' with none other than Mr Gary Barlow. His own album is an honest take on growing up in your 20s... his experiences, observations, trials and tribulations, captured by heartfelt lyrics and timeless melodies.

THE LOVELY LAURA

'The Lovely Laura' (Laura Fowles) has been building up her career as both one of today's most in-demand club saxophonists, and a unique vocalist, in both the UK jazz scene and dance clubs. Her latest soulful acoustic EP 'My Time' also dazzles with an extraordinary singing/songwriting ability.

JAY SCOTT
Growing up in a musical family, Jay Scott taught himself to play a unique style of lap steel guitar while lying flat in hospital with a broken nose. One of Jay's loves is poetry which is all too apparent in his lyrics as they weave through his captivating hooks and melodies. Although unable to read music, he can play anything he hears by ear.
