Tears, Tantrums And Take That:

I have been home an hour - My head is spinning, All the days in Belfast seemed to roll in to one, My credit card has already reached its limit, I hardly slept BUT i had the most amazing time EVER - The boys proved once again why they really are a step above the rest when it comes to putting on a show. It was evident the amount of time, effort and energy that they put into creating the spectical that is the "Beautiful World" Tour. The thing that really struck me was that you could see quite clearly that each of them had a big input into the show and stamped their own personalities all over it.

The day started with lunch at the lads hotel and after we went into the bar - After we went into the bar i literally went outside for 5 seconds and my phone rang with my friend telling me to get back inside the bar immediately as i walked through the doors i literally came face to face with Howard - I smiled sat down and downed my drink in one A few minutes later Dawn and Gary walked into the bar before going through into the restaurant area. Many a text message followed in the next 30 minutes or so and i apologise to Rach who was trying to study at Uni We got told that the guys would be making a move soon so we went outside to say hi to them.

Mark appeared first and amid all the craziness that followed i did get a chance to speak to him and he thanked me and the other Moderators for the work we do on the forum - He proved once again how much he cares about his fans. I did manage to get a few pictures of him...

Next out was Gary who again stopped for a few minutes to talk to everyone and have photos...

Followed by Howard who signed a few items for me and then proceed to walk off with them He realised what he had done and turned around and gave them too me With that they were gone but it was great to get the chance to say hello not only to the lads but also all the fantastic forum members that i met. I met so many great people during my time in Belfast so thank you to everyone who asked me if i was "TakeThatBoy" it was lovely to be able to put a face to a name

We arrived at the arena later that evening and managed to meet up with Jaidi and GB4ME - It was so nice to finally met you two and THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR WHAT YOU DONE, I really hope you realise how very much i appreciate it and i can never thank you guys enough!!

The Concert:

The atmosphere in the Odessy was electric and we had our best seats of the Belfast shows for the final night - We were at the end of the 4th row in the first block closest to the stage. The crowd were totally hyped up and everyone wanted to make sure that the boys after 5 sell out nights at the Odessy left on a high - Sophie Ellis Bextor was the support act and got the crowd going by singing some of her biggest hits, 10 minutes after she left the stage the arena darkened and 10,000 Take That fans erupted - Looking around it felt like one big family, Each and every person there brought together for one reason - The greatest British band Take That...

And So It Begins...
The opening of the concert was an operatic piece of music that lead into one of the tracks from the current album - "Reach Out", The visuals on the screen were amazing and 4 boxes with Take That logos on them were wheeled onto stage each containing a member of the band, As the song started the lads appeared dressed as politicians with Take That rosettes on. I'm sure everyone would agree that they would make the greatest politicians the country has ever seen. The crowd erupted and sang along and you could tell once again that it was going to be the start of yet another amazing night.

After that you knew that this wasn't going to be a "normal" show by a "normal" band - The lads clearly spent many months getting the show together and they have once again raised the bar to another level casting their shadow over every other performer out there, With the use of the B-Stage and the walkway they ensured that EVERYONE got the perfect view, They mixed old with new and performed "Patience", "Beautiful World" and "Shine" alongside old classics such as "Relight My Fire" which was one of the main highlights for me - It was simply breathtaking, "Back For Good" and a revamped stripped down version of "Could It Be Magic" and the truly unforgettable "Give Good Feeling".

The main highlight of the evening once again for me was Jason and his performance of "Wooden Boat" and that's when i am not ashamed to say that a tear or two appeared - Jason was clearly nervous and confirmed this afterwards but he gave an amazing performance and the crowd sang along, I had waited 17 years to see my favourite member of the band on lead vocals and now i can't get enough - It was quite simply the most amazing part of the concert for me and i love the way it lead into the dance floor party style afterwards where clearly Jason and Howard had a massive input.

The concert bought so many mixed emotions for me - From the superb performance of "Never Forget" which reminded me of that time in 1996 when "As From Today Take That Are No More..." to "Could It Be Magic" and "Give Good Feeling" which were on constant repeat on my Walkman in the early 1990s right up to the euphoric feeling when they sang "Patience" and how happy they made us by coming back to prove once again they are the premier pop band,

The concert was more than just a concert - It was an amazing theatrical visual show that had something for everyone and never stood still with constant twists and surprises. I enjoyed every single second and the memories of Belfast will live with me for a very long time thank you Take That for giving it your all and giving us the most incredible show.
